FALLLLLL-ING
EEEeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkk! 24 hours to go! Such a very deep rabbit hole... I'm ever-so-slightly terrified. But excited. And terrified. But excited...
Some thoughts:
*American money smells like hands, breath mints and floral toilet spary. Curious...
*I said my goodbyes to the city of Melbourne by night on the weekend - she rained on me the next day. Beeyatch.
*We had Christmas pudding on Sunday - The Last Supper - my father called it. Christmas pudding is the only dessert worthy of such an occasion (Thanks Mum!). All hail the mighty Christmas Pud!

lucky you, enjoy the long flight to the land where the money smells of dental floss... um... also, make sure you watch the cool inflight movies, and tell us if you have your own screen, and can play tetris!!! that is the best fun of any trip!

Oh you're probably still in the air right now with dehydrated hair and minor dvt. Pity we didn't get to say goodbye but you'll be back before I know it - I'm sure. Beautiful picture! See you were a blogger all along, you were just in denial. :P

the american money i currently have in my moneybelt (oh i have all kinds of currencies in there..except thai baht, which is the one i actually need...)smells like: two months in asia where it was handled somewhat in laos and cambodia, followed by a short time in london culminating in a crisis followed by a one month sojourn in melbourne followed by hot asia again...
and thus i am not game to ACTUALLY smell it...

i am wishing somewhat that i was heading there with you (a beautiful girl called emily even devised a slight plan where i go in your backpack...)

Thanks for the comments. Nice of the spirit of America to visit my blog. Though it better start weaving some magic pronto because I'm not feeling it right now. No doubt you'll get how I'm feeling from my most recent post. The irony is that this is supposed to be *fun.* That said, I've been here less than 24 hrs...so I should keep my chip up.
